Grilling vs BBQ, What's the Difference?

Some of you must be wondering, "What exactly is the difference between barbecue and grilling?". In this modern society, everyone seems to be using these two words interchangeably. Technically, barbecue and grilling is a method of cooking and the sole difference is the length of time and amount of heat used.

Barbecue
Slow and Steady. When barbecuing, low temperature and "slow" cooking of meat allows food to absorb the smoke and rub flavors, making it tender and moist. This "Long, Low and Slow" cooking method is used on ribs, pork shoulder, and brisket to achieve the tantalizing moist meat texture.

Grilling
Hot and Fast. Grilling is the most commonly preferred cooking method in this fast paced society. However not all food it suitable for this cooking method. Burgers, chicken, steak, and seafood are typically grilled, but you may also grill fresh vegetables and even fruit.
